HubSpot for DACH Outbound: How We Set It Up for Every Campaign
The exact pipeline stages, contact properties, and automation sequences we use across every 8bound campaign.
We've set up HubSpot for outbound campaigns over 50 times. The setup that works for a US SaaS company selling to enterprise buyers is completely different from what you need for DACH mid-market outbound. Here's exactly what we build — and why.
Pipeline stages
Most HubSpot setups are inherited from a Marketing-qualified lead model. For outbound, you need a different structure. Here's what we use:
Custom contact properties we always add
HubSpot's default contact properties are built for inbound. For outbound, you need to track different things. We add these to every instance we set up:
The sequences that work for DACH
Our standard DACH sequence runs over 15 business days and mixes calls and emails. The ratio is intentionally phone-heavy: 6 call attempts, 3 emails, 1 LinkedIn touch. Never the reverse.
After 15 days without a connect, contacts move to a "re-engage in 90 days" list — not archived. DACH buyers often come back when timing changes. We've booked meetings from contacts first touched 8 months earlier.
Reporting setup
We build three weekly dashboards for every client: Activity (dials, connects, emails sent), Pipeline (meetings booked, held, conversion rates), and Quality (ICP score distribution of connected contacts). These three views tell you whether the outbound engine is healthy at a glance.
HubSpot setup is included in every 8bound campaign. Book a call and we'll walk you through the exact configuration for your use case.
